Careers at Stride | Work that shows up in someone's Tuesday

Careers at Stride

We're small.
The work isn't.

A handful of people, one product, and a very clear job: help someone get an ordinary day back. If that sounds like enough to you, read on.

Why the work matters

This is what lands in our inbox.

“I got down on the floor with my granddaughter yesterday. First time in three years.”

Customer email — March

“I walked to the shop and back without stopping. I know that sounds like nothing. It isn't.”

Customer email — April

“Dad came down the stairs without holding the rail. Mum cried. Thank you.”

Customer email — May

Whatever your role here, this is the scoreboard. Not sessions, not impressions. Someone’s ordinary Tuesday.

What we actually look for
(and what we don't).

  • You take customers seriously

Most of the people we serve are in daily pain and have been let down before. They deserve straight answers and fast replies, not a tone of voice document.

  • You'd rather ship it than schedule a meeting about it

We're small enough that one person can decide something on Tuesday and have it live by Thursday. That only works if you like owning the whole thing.

  • You're honest about what a product can and can't do

We sell a strap, not a cure. Anyone who overclaims to make a number look better isn't a fit here, no matter how good the number is.

  • You don't need a big title to do good work

No hierarchy to climb, no headcount to build. Just work you can point at and say you did.
